Former Clackamas County Transportation Facility: Our Acquisition Story
In June 2023, we acquired what was formerly the Clackamas County Transportation Facility, the county's headquarters for operations that included their main transportation fleet, sheriff's department fleet parking, marine patrol, and vector control services.
The transition was smooth and strategic. The county completed their move to a new headquarters in September 2023. This gave us immediate access to a fully operational 22 plus acre industrial complex with 14 buildings and over 102,000 square feet of leasable building space, plus nearly 3 acres of open yard space for outdoor storage and fleet parking.
The location is exceptional. We're positioned right at the convergence of Highway 99, Highway 213, and Interstate 205, just minutes from downtown Oregon City. You're literally minutes away from jumping on the freeway. We're close to Home Depot and all the commercial activity that thrives in this corridor. From here, contractors and businesses throughout the area can reach us in minutes: Lake Oswego, West Linn, Wilsonville, Canby, Portland, Tualatin, and beyond.
From day one, we focused on two priorities: securing the necessary entitlements and making strategic improvements to position the campus for commercial leasing. Today, Abernethy Industrial Campus is home to flexible industrial tenants and offers 370 secure parking stalls for RVs, boats, heavy equipment, and fleet vehicles serving contractors, small businesses, and operators throughout the Clackamas County region.
